Reply from Logistiker on Feb 12 at 3:45 PM Hi Alan, I agree with your statement about the vendor being responsible for the shipping/exporting, etc. But what about the following process: We send our own fleet to pick up such left over items in the same country. We would typically have a PO and an inbound delivery for normal items but this is subcontracting? Would a new item category in the inbound delivery linked with movement type 542 be feasible if there is no standard logistics process here? Regards, Logistiker

He usually keeps the stock for a certain period of time to ensure he can process x amount of PO orders from us. As he does not want to keep this stock for an extended period long of time, he wishes to send it back to us. Now, is there a process in SAP where I can do a return of component stock back into my stock from subcontracting? I can"t simply cancel Goods issue of original delivery to vendor as the goods receipt of the new stock and consumption of components has already taken place. This is not necessarily after each PO but could be a one off return delivery of all leftover stock which has gathered from several POs/deliveries.
