I finally got the result.
These fields in BSEG will get populated only if we enter the TAX amount manually in FB60 / FB70.
If we use 'Calculate Tax' checkbox, we wont get this field filled. In case of these values being missing, also check the account against which the invoice is posted. it should be P&L and tax code category in control tab should be appropriate like +,- or *

Hello SAP experts,
I need urgent help regarding the TAX posting in SAP.
IN BSEG we have two fields MWSTS and WMWST that stores the TAX Amount details. While posting an invoice, I could see in some cases the fields are getting populated in BSEG. In some cases these fields are not populated at all. In both cases, we have a dedicated TAX line item in BSEG.
I want to know why it is happening like this?
Is there any customizing that prevents the fields getting updated in BSEG.?
