We are using the SAP HR webdynpro staff appraisal package, within this you can create templates that are basis for a print in adobe forms.
The txn used is phap_admin
You create a heading then a 'Description'
It is possible to create free text in 'Web layout' which displays nicely in the gui, with new lines, and line breaks all displaying.
But when it selected to print through to through the adobe form, it concatenates the entire block into 1 string, including the htm line break symbols,
Has anyone had this issue? Is there a standard setting, or a way of entering the text in the standard form ( but there is no TDFORMAT there )
Each heading and description is in the form structure as a row ID, and each row ID has this concatenated string.
