What do you mean by 'but system is not allowing it' ? The system may issue
a warning message, but will not prevent you from changing the depreciation
key.

Hello,
The depreciation is already posted through cutover data....but some
technical reason need to change the depreciation key, but system is not
allowing it. What can be the solution for it..................if its
possible for month end closing remains the old depreciation key and after
that change the new depreciation key, in this case what can be pros and
cons....
The old depreciation key-C001(in this depreciation to the day was not
ticked)
New Dep key-C011(in this depreciation to the day is ticked) and this is
client requirement.
Please suggest me what is the right solution.
