Good Day,

If each user's printer and PC is identical to all others (with respect to hardware drivers, o/s, & SAP Frontend) then the printing will also be identical. Since that rarely happens it makes it more difficult to support LOCL printing.

If it needs consistency then don't use LOCL; use a network print server.
Or make the PC's that don't work properly, identical to the ones that do.

Regards

Subject: Black Boxes On Some Printers Instead of Graphics Using LOCL (SAPscript)

Hello guys,

I am facing the following problem:
- A SAPscript form is printed and contains a graphic (.tif, 300dpi)
- User are printing via LOCL
- On some printers it is working and on some it prints a black box instead of the graphic

What I did:
- Installed the not working printer on my device (same driver) and printed via LOCL
-> No black boxes, but the graphic is printed out reversed

Do you have an idea where this problem might be caused or what I could do in order to test it?

Thanks a lot in advance!
