The storage location may be also pulled from the production version of the finished product.
Check if it's maintained. Else, I can only think of an eventual User Exit.

For the finished products (In-house production), we have two storage location: 0001(warehouse) and 0002 (production department). I maintained the production storage location to 0001 (warehouse) in MM at MRP and Workscheduling.
Normally, storage location information automatically should pass from MM to Planned order to Production Order to Confirmation. However, after confirmation of production order, the system assigns the location 0002 instead of 0001. Do you know why it is not using the prod. stor. loc. that I maintained in MM? What might be the problem? I have a really limited knowledge about SAP so I couldn't find any solution for it. I would be really grateful if you could help me.
