This is not a Basis question ask this in the Development group. A developer would have to develop a program to check if the first job is running and then release the 2nd Job

Subject: In An Interface Program, How To Suspend A Job For 5 Mins And Again Restart The Job

Currently the program has 2 options, to output full details or to output details for delta changes. When background jobs are scheduled from SM37, it has a Lock (Enqueue / Dequeue) so that only one job is running at a time.

The new requirement is that, when Delta job is running and another job for full refresh is active simultaneously, the full refresh job must wait for 5 mins. After 5 mins, it must again check if any other job is running in background. If so, it must wait for another 5 mins and check again. Else, the program logic must be executed.

Could someone suggest on how this can be achieved?

Thanks,
Raji
