Reply from VIVEK7890 on Jun 13 at 4:04 PM Error 88 means that SAPGui is not able to reach the message server of the SAP application entries you had mentioned.A assuming the application is up as from.one user it's fine for you. Kindly check below things in your case, 1)when you switch the user from admin to normal is your sap gui privileges gets affected.If yes re install the gui or RE- configured the SAPLOGON.IN again in machine with normal user.You may copy the old .ini from Admin user in ~/common/ folder. 2)Check that both user have not restriction to network level.I.E.both are using same VPN if any, to connect the SAP server. 3)Check both SAP gui profile settings of same SAP system but with diff users,in your case one is admin and other is normal one.
