Reply from LCC352 on Aug 14 at 4:54 PM Hi, Joe - I understand the maintenance dilemma very well. It sounds like you're doing an elimination with your calculation. So if Company X is in set A and in set B, you would want to subtract the amount and show zero for Company X, thereby eliminating the company from the mix of totals. If that is the case, do you think it would work using the sets as columns instead of rows, with a third column as the calcuation? If so, then you might be able to get Company X in set A to line up with its counterpart in set B and show a zero in the third column for that pair. The individual companies would come through with the accounts in the lead column instead. You might be able to play with the layout to hide the rows that had zero in the calculation column, netting you only the rows that were exclusively in set A. I would try that and see what happened. Otherwise, I don't know how you would be able to do anything in row 3 that isn't a total figure. I don't believe SAP would be able to "pair" the set A and set B values if they are in rows. - Lou

I want to create a new set that uses a formula subrtacting one set from another set. The sets are both basic sets based on partner accounts. Ultimatly, I'm trying to exclude set values from another set to create new set and still be able to expand in report painter to see the values for each value. I know that I can create two rows using each of the sets and then a third row using a formula subtracting the one row from another. The problem I have is that the formula row cannot be expanded to the see the partner accounts. Does this make sense or do you need more details? Any help is greatly appreciated.
