Reply from sridharca on Aug 15 at 9:16 AM Whether you are doing this in column or row, I don't think it is possible. As I understand Lou's response, the system will not allow same characterstic to be in row and column. I looked at BadI/user exit for variable and it will only return 'value' not 'set'. If you think maintenance of set C may be error prone, add a control row (set A- set B) to make sure it ties with result of set C. Hope this helps. Sridhar

I want to create a new set that uses a formula subrtacting one set from another set. The sets are both basic sets based on partner accounts. Ultimatly, I'm trying to exclude set values from another set to create new set and still be able to expand in report painter to see the values for each value. I know that I can create two rows using each of the sets and then a third row using a formula subtracting the one row from another. The problem I have is that the formula row cannot be expanded to the see the partner accounts. Does this make sense or do you need more details? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Joe | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
