I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish. Let me see if an example will help.

Let's say set A is partners in the north and set B is partners in the south. Let's say that sales is the subject of the actual calculation, so that becomes a column. So row 1 has set A, row 2 has set B and row 3 is the difference between sales in set A and set B. Is that correct? If so, how would SAP know how you want to do the calculation other than to do it in total?

What am I missing?

Subject: Subtract a Basic Set With Another Basic Set to Come Up With a New Set

Hi Gurus...

I want to create a new set that uses a formula subrtacting one set from another set. The sets are both basic sets based on partner accounts. Ultimatly, I'm trying to exclude set values from another set to create new set and still be able to expand in report painter to see the values for each value. I know that I can create two rows using each of the sets and then a third row using a formula subtracting the one row from another. The problem I have is that the formula row cannot be expanded to the see the partner accounts. Does this make sense or do you need more details? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Joe
