We then created a customized program (using ABAP) to import a csv file with all the journal data. You can discuss this with your ABAP programmer to decide on a customized program to create based on FB50 as an example.

Hi Experts,
Is it possible to import flat file (CSV) or excel file in SAP to create Journal entry without using expensive and fancy software?
I'll start receiving payroll file bi weekly and one accrual file monthly from my payroll provider in CSV or in excel format and I would like to upload that file into SAP to create my entries. Please note that we don't have SAP business one available in our company. Your replies will be much appreciated.
