In answer to your second question, do you have a test system at your disposal to setup the data and test the transaction?

Subject: Depreciation Suspension
I have some assets that have straight line depreciation. I need to dispose them in July. However I cannot do it in July yet pending approval. So these assets will be depreciated in July. Is there anyway to stop depreciation run for these assets in July? This is a list of over 100 assets.
If depreciation run in July, when I dispose them in Aug, if I use June 30 as the value asset date, will the system able to reverse the depreciation posted in July and recognized the net book value beginning July as dispose value? |
