Hi Govind,
What SAP says is that in case SD module itself is not used but revenues and costs need to be collected to an order, then you can use I.O with revenue functionality, so that both costs and revenues could be collected in it. This would later have to be settled to COPA. Else, if SD module is used, and if there is a functional need to collect costs on a Sales order item, then it would be the right choice.

Ramesh

Subject: Cost Controlling Parts of SD Customer Orders

Hi All,

I am going through the definition of " Internal Order with revenue".

1) It says that you can use this order to display cost controlling parts of SD customer orders.

2) Also the SAP help says that "If you are not using SD, you can use them to replace the CO functions of SD sales orders. "

Does these statements are refering to the "sales order costing"?

Could you help me to understand the meaning of the above 1 & 2 statements?

Thanks & Regards,
Govind
