Hi Employees on leave are usually considered to be active. The employment status is not changed to inactive. I have not seen client sites where the employee becomes inactive during leave. Regards, JG

These employees will have their merit increase approved while on leave but they will be excluded during activation. The issue comes here, once they are given merit increase their record is locked with the effective date configured. Even if we activate them later they still get activated on the same effective date with which their record was created. Please give your advice on whats the best way to handle this. Thanks in advance Preeti | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N. Scottsdale Road Suite 280, Scottsdale, AZ 85251 | | JG-SAPHR SAP HR Top Contributor
