The IT 2001 end date itself can be used to list employees with PA2001-ENDDA in a given range. You should not need to store this date again in another infotype.
If you are specific about this need, then you can use IT 16 with a new task type. This can also provide a reminder the administrator/manager prior to the return date. Another report can be run to list employees based on the reminder date.
This can be created in the background through dynamic actions. Also, when a absence record is changed, this IT 16 also needs to be deleted and a new one created. Similarly an absence deletion should delete IT 16. would apply when For this purpose, it would be best to call a function (or a form in ABAP terminology) in the dynamic action. This function should create/delete IT 16 based on the IT 2001 input and any existing IT 16.

I have a new requirement in SAP HR to track the 'start date of work' for employees who goes on illness/ vacations.
This start date will be the return date of employee from illness/ vacations. We cannot rely on IT2001 as the employees can extend their leaves/vacations any time. This date will be used to assign work/trainings for the employees. This date is important as this will flow to other systems/ people.
Can you help me with any infotype where I can store this data? |
