NaughtyBudgie I don't think I said the date was mandatory - it isn't in our system, we want it to be an optional field, and it is. We can enter any Calendar we like, it's just that only the one in config appears in F4 Help, and we don't like the behavior of the field when it is populated. If I were starting from scratch, I might look to the following changes : 1. F4 Help on Rebate Agreement Calendar field. Display all Factory Calendars (or a subset), not just the one maintained against that Agreement Type in config. 2.(optional) The Validity Date Range on the RA would validate against the chosen Agreement Calendar selected. 3. When extending an RA for an additional Agreement Calendar period, it should copy the chosen calendar from the source RA, not copy it from config. I can't find any copy control for this; I suspect it would need to be done in RV15C005, either via userexit, or by cloning the program (prefer not to). My point is, that this should all be catered for in standard SAP, but doesn't seem to be. Cheers, Paul.

Something is strange on your setup because I can leave the Arrangement Calendar blank in my rebate type agreement configuration just as you are requesting... so not sure why it's mandatory for you. I can think of no config that makes fields mandatory in Agreement types either. What version of SAP are you on?
