Subject: Difference in Price in sales order & Billing document
Hi All,
1 mainatined a condition record for PR00 Condition type for the key combination Sales organisation /distribution channel/material for Rs 200 SGD with validity period from 29.01.2011 to 31.12.9999
created sales order through Auto job on 30.02.2011 with Proo condition type amount as 200 SGD.
2 Billing was created automatically throigh Job on 09.02.2011 at 11.30 a.m and the PR00 price is shown as 200 SGD
3 on 09.02.2011 at 12.15 P.M a new Pricing condition record for PR00 condition was created for the key combination Sales organisation/Distribution channel/Division/Customer/Currency for 198 SGD with validity period from 29.01.2011 to 31.12.9999.
4 when checked the sales order ,it is showing the New price 198 SGD and the Billing document is showing PR00 price as 200 SGD
also the cost of the item is changed from 24.89 USD TO 24.91 USD .
Kindly clarify whether the difference in Sales order showing New price of 198 SGD is due to the Newly creted condition record has deleted the old condition reocrd ie overlapping of records for PR00 condition type and the Billing document is showing the Old price of 200 SGD as it is not getting updated with new price
Kindly confirm if my understanding is correct
also how the cost of the item is changing in the sales order ie is it due to material moving average price in the material maater or through Material valuation for VPRS condition
