Hello, Only method is to create a new client and test it. I assume the currency key in the CO settings will not change. I guess you are in a lucky situation that the existing company codes ' 10 currency will become the newer company code's 30 currency type. You'll see an update in the transaction tables of the new currency types being used. Regards Waza

Our company is in production and has transactional history. When the company was originally set up; the currency type in the CO settings was set as 10(company code currency). The company is now expanding to other countries. As the currencies are different; currency type 10 can not be used. What are the implications if I change this setting to 30. The group currency will be the same as the production client. What will happen to transactional history? What is the implications on assets. I have looked at OSS notes 120826; 119428 and 120380. The company meets the requirements to run program ZCHGCTYP. However; what happens to prior transactions on the system? Thanks | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
