Dear Smahadevan,
Period 1 is open for only those users who have got the authorization group
& period 2 is open for all the users.
So if you want the particular user to post in the period 1 tell your basis
team to give '0001' value in the the F_BKPF_BUP object & you please mention this group in OB52 under
AuGr.
And rest period 2 is open for all the users.

Subject: Authorization Object F_FBKP_BUP for OB52 Authorization Group
I have done the following steps:
- Added the posting period authorization (authorization object F_BKPF_BUP) to the authorizations of the selected user and assigned an authorization group (e.g. '0001').
- Entered the account type '+' for the posting period variant to which the restriction is to apply. Entered the period(s) whose use is to be restricted in the first period, those which are available to all users in the second period, and the authorization group (e.g. '0001') in the last column.
- Maintained the entry in TBRG
Yet, it is not working. Am I missing something.?
