/sapmnt/SID/exe
/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/exe
Does sapcpe then copy the kernel to /usr/sap/SID/exe/ctrun
And why do you think that my production system is Diff to DEV and QAS ?

saposcol is part of the kernel, so i search my system for saposcol and on DEV and QAS it is located here : /sapmnt/SID/exe
But on my PRD system it is in 3 places
/sapmnt/SID/exe
/usr/sap/SID/exe/ctrun
/usr/sap/SID/DVEBMGS00/exe
Here is my issue
On DEV and QAS system I Update the directory /sapmnt/SID/exe No problems
On production i have tried to update all of the 3 directories individually No luck
Eventually i updated all 3 of the directories at the same time and it worked
I know that sapcpe must be working here.
Question:
Why is PRD diff from DEV and QAS
Which directory do I update on PRD as i said i have tried all 3 and it does not work.
