Hi Chindu, Please check this operation it may help you - CMPER. Operation CMPER is a decision operation. You must therefore specify 'D' as the rule type. CMPER compares two period specifications in three different variants. The periods used in the comparison are the in-period and for-period of the current payroll run. As a result of the comparison, one of two signs '<', '>' or '=' is entered in the variable key. The operation CMPER is only advisable for regular payroll runs, not special runs. The for-period is compared with the fixed values that you entered in digits nn and nnnn. o CMPER JJnn The year of the for-period is compared with nn of the given year. o CMPER MMnn The period number of the for-period is compared with nn of the given period number. o CMPER nnnn Year and period number of the for-period are compared with the values entered in nnnn where the first two digits are for the year and the last two digits represent the period number. o CMPER MMB The period number of the for-period is compared with the basic month for the special payment in the Public Sector. Variant 2: Comparing the for-period with the in-period The for-period and the in-periods are compared. o CMPERRJJ The year of the for-period is compared with the year of the in-period. See example 1. o CMPERRVJ The year of the for-period is compared with the previous year of the in-period. o CMPERRMM The period number of the for-period is compared with the period number of the in-period. o Variante 3: Checking the In-Period The in-period is compared with the fixed values that you enter in digits nn. o CMPERRJJnn The year of the in-period is compared with nn of the given year. o CMPERRVJnn The previous year of the in-period is compared with nn of the given year. o CMPERRMMnn The period number of the in-period is compared with nn of the given period number. See example 2. Regards, Vijay

I know it can be done using TKSOLL. But while running offcycle using offcycle workbench, TKSOLL value is set to 1. So Is there any operation or function through which I can calculate the calendar days or number of days in a payroll period ? As checked NUM=YCURPP can deliver payroll period but what I need is number of days. Thanks in advance. Regards Chindu | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
