Use F-02 to debit and credit the same G/L account with the relevant amount (so that the effect of this transaction on the G/L account balance will be zero). While debiting do select the correct account assignments (correct Cost Center / Business Area / Profit Center) and while crediting select the incorrect account assignments (incorrect Cost Center / Business Area / Profit Center). If the relevant G/L account master data has a tick in the check box for "Post automatically only" then create a separate G/L account for the purpose of these changes / repostings. This separate G/L account should be used exclusively for this purpose (so the balance of this account will always be zero) - Ashish Damle FICO

Subject: How to change Business Area in Posted doc

We have just begun using the Business Area for invoices and
credit memos related to a specific recon account for reporting
and reconciliation purposes. We found our substitution rule was
not working at first. We need to be able to add the business
area to the documents created during that time. I have found
notes back to 1997 related to enabling the change of GSBER, but
so far nothing we have tried has been successful. Can anyone
help?

Thank you!
