Hi JB
If you are not on a productive environment, then why not overwrite the
account determination for your pettycash account by copying from one of the
correct G L accounts for which account determination is already correct?
After this , may be you could do a valuation run. But please note that a
second valuation run for valuation already done on a key date would not
register any valuation amount if the GL balance has not undergone a change.
If you have posted any further document in between, then only a differential
value for the add-on balance only would be registered.

The balance sheet adjustment account in config is 504017 for the petty cash account 504021. However it is posting to 610165 which is the balance sheet adjustment account for AP Trade? It has always used 610165 even though the config is 504017?.
When executing F.05 both the GL balances and GL open items tick boxes are checked. There are several FX accounts, I have checked the FX bank account in the same company code and it is posting to the correct accounts as per the configuration.
I have done a spot check of some of the FX accounts in other company codes, the FX reval is posting to the correct accounts and the overall posting is correct. I have picked up 3 other petty cash accounts in other company codes where the reval is also posting to the incorrect balance sheet adjustment account AP Trade (610165) which is not defined in config, but the overall posting (i.e. the net) is correct?
We only picked up the error due to the net posting to the income statement being 97k instead of 1,133. If it had posted the contra of 96k to 110000 as it had done in the past, we would not have realised that there was an issue with the posting.
