you will want to schedule an online backup via db13 dba calendar...i don't
think it can be done in dbacockpit...i do believe in dbacockpit you can
find the dba calendar...db13.
but if you schedule an offline backup will db13 bring down sap for you ? i
don't think so.
will it bring sap back up for you after the backup completes...i don'
think so.
your best bet would be to exec a script at os level that will bring down
sap gracefully , run your offline backup , then bring sap back active.
or use a third party backup software...legato , backint , netbackup ,
tivoli etc....

Hello,
DB is DB2
I want to take an OFFLINE backup via DBACOCKPIT (DB13) but the option
offline backup is in grey.
Do you have any idea how can I take a backup offline via DBACOCKPIT ??

thanks a lot for your help
Daniel
