Hi, OK, then I think the hosting partner need to add it to their DNS servers. They might have to add entries in saprouttab, as well, but saprouttab doesn't work as DNS. So the IP and port is defined in saprouttab and the IP is mapped to the hostname in DNS. As a SAP hosting partner they should know how to modify and refresh the saprouttab. All you should need to provide is the IP, hostname and port. I dont think this will work, because the server is in a local network on the Service provider, so it have a 10.something address... =( not a public one... i think it has to be with the sap router conf.... will try anyway, just in case.... thanks.... PS. Just tried.. not working.. =( ---------------Original Message--------------- From: maph01 Sent: Friday, July 02, 2010 6:15 PM Subject: Scope Baseline > Hi all... > > I'm activating the Baseline for MX, and I'm now in the step for scoping the solution, but the problem is that i get a DNS error, because the server is accessed through a Sap router... The hosting of the sap server is outsourced, so i can not do anything but ask them what i want them to do.... how can they configure the saprouter? so I can access this webpage whit in the sapgui is the server is not exposed to the internet... > > Thanks in advance > Map-h | __.____._ Copyright © 2010 Toolbox.com and message author.
