[sap-log-pp] Production in Another Plant with GR to planning plant - how to set master data for accurate receiving location

In the Production from alternate plant scenario, how does GR to process order know which storage location to post inventory to in planning plan?. In our scenario currently, Production plant has only 1 storage location, planning plant has 5 finished goods storage locations. The planning plant sloc that we want the production to post to does not exist in the production plant, only the planning plant. So when we are converting our process orders it is pulling in the production plant sloc for goods receipt. So Our planning plant sloc does not exist in the pick list of the receiving location in MRP2 view for production plant. What are we doing incorrectly? And if it matters our GR's are actually done from RTCIS, not manually in SAP, does this make a difference. Both plants do share the same RTCIS box.
