SAN, The standard for 401K deductions is to take the current rate. Basically, the change on the base (/102) is carried forward using wage types /X02 and /Z02. Then the 401K deduction is processed against this modified base. The configuration for this is as follows: T512W WT /X02 within valuation basis section, set first derived wage type to /102 WT /X02 set processing class 6 to 1 WT /Z02 within valuation basis section, set first derived wage type to /Z02 WT /Z02 set processing class 6 to 0 WT /Z02 select cumulation class 02 WT /102 set 1st derived wage type to /X02 and 2nd derived WT to /Z02 WT /102 set processing class 83 to 5 -- take old basis, carry difference forward V_51P6_C Arrears for retrocalc 401K deduction WT -- set retroactivity indicator to 4 Take old amount, forget difference This set up carries the value of the change in base forward to the current period. So in your example, /102 should now be 20000 against which 10% will be calculated.
