I was bale to rectify this error by setting the variable for oracle_home .
However now i am getting the following error
BR1001I BRSPACE 7.00 (40)
BR1002I Start of BRSPACE processing: sedjtnva.tse 2010-06-05 21.41.34
BR0484I BRSPACE log file: D:\oracle\SMD\sapreorg\sedjtnva.tse
BR1304W Checking SAP license failed at location BrLicCheck-108
BR0602W No valid SAP license found - please contact SAP
