Yes, you can do exactly that. Create a new document type, with its own field selection (make "Returns Item" required). Authorize the Warehouse personnel for the new document type only.

Hi Team, I need to restrict ME21 to segregate the warehouse people access from the rest of procurement. Business wants warehouse to create a negative PO for sending back pallets to the suppliers. With the whs loading the pallets at night the team need access to send these pallets back on a SAP generated document. Do I look at creating a new purchasing document type? If so what other implications do I need to look out for ie tables. Hope somebody has a solution for me. Thanks Michelle
