I have always used novaluated material type UNBW for this purpose.

Dear All,

I need some help in SAP by which I can control Customer Free Issue Material. In our contract business, many times, we get specific component from Customer to be used in my contract. Currently I am keeping record of all such material out of SAP (a manual control). By which method I can book customer issued material in SAP without affecting my own inventory and also do not want hit a FI transaction.

I have got some answers as using statistical entry system in SAP might solve the problem. Also on net I got Information about VD01-05 transactions, but I am not well sure that it will solve my problem. Kindly help me out.
