Hi,
The general recommendation is to update SPAM/SAINT to the latest available patch.
You're mixing the versions 7.00 and 7.01 in your message. Which version is component SAP_BASIS in your system? The SPAM/SAINT version must be the same version as the SAP_BASIS component.
When upgrading to EhP1 the SPAM/SAINT Update for version 7.01 should be included in the upgrade.

LEH

Hi,
I did a mistake and need help for the same, I was doing SPAM update( current
SPAM level 7.0/36) and the time I clicked on Import SPAM/SAINT update the
EPS/in was empty and it asked for the SAPKD70036 update further and I
clicked continue which has thrown error, the action log says:
Import phase 'CHECK_REQUIREMENTS' (21.05.2010, 00:11:33)
|
| Error during executing the tp command 'tp CONNECT WSM ...'
|
| tp return code: '0249' , tp message: 'connect failed due to DbSL
load lib failure' , tp output: |

|
| ERROR: No connect due to DbSl Load Lib Failure
|
| ERROR: environment variable dbms_type is not set.
|
| ERROR: Connect to WSM failed (20100521001133).
|
| INFO: no trace information stored
|
| tp returncode summary:

| TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0
|
| ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0249
|
| standard output from tp and from tools called by tp:
After the error I imported the SPAM 701/34 from application server, and the
SPAM update of 7.00/36 is not available at SMP which I think could be in my
backed up EPS/in folder but I am not sure about the ATT and PAT files. Can
any one tell me the ATT and PAT files for 7.0/36 or could provide me the
link on SMP where I could get it? Also, is there any way I could escape this
and update SPAM to 7.01/34. please suggest.

Mridul
