Hi everybody,
I'm dealing with a stock determination rule prioritizing unrestricted use stock to consignment for materials that are also used as components in Production in a WM environment as pick-to-order parts.
At the initial stage we have only consignment stock, therefore material staging in WM correctly creates a transfer order from consignment stock (special stock K) with standard WM movement type 319 to the dynamic WM staging bin.
After this has been done and the components have been staged it's possible that some of the products that have been staged from consignment stock are received into the warehouse in unrestricted stock before the corresponding production order is confirmed and the components are backflushed (mov. type 261). This presents a "mixed" situation with products in both unrestricted and consignment stock. Nevertheless the products have already been staged from consignments stock and are in the dynamic bin with stock type K. Therefore that's the stock we expect to be backflushed.
However, when the order is confirmed the stock determination rule is reprocessed and the components are withdrawn from unrestricted use stock ignoring the fact that the products have been staged in a different way.
How is it possible to force the system to backflush components according the staging even though the situation has changed in the meantime? It looks like the stock determination rule with mov. type 261 overrules the WM staging.
I created a storage search type in WM to exclude products that are not in the staging area but it still doesn't work.
Thank you everybody,
Joe
