I believe you have to have zero stock in both the current and PREVIOUS
periods, not just current period stock. It would help us to help you if
you posted the actual message texts.

In order to guarantee the tracability of batches we need to turn on the
Batch Managment in MM02 / urchasing.
We made sure there was no stock left and indeed, when we check this via
MB52 SAP tells us there is no stock for this item. However, if we try to
turn on the Batch managment the system gives an error saying there is
stock in warehouse 1506.
Any suggestions??
