Thank You...There was another response to my question saying to change the config under
> Material s Management > Purchasing > Purchase Order > Texts for Purchase Orders > Define Copying Rules for Item Texts.
This is definately not it. I played with the settings in sandbox and if you put a * it defaults the Material Master Text in the PO...if you "blank" it (do not FIX) the text does not appear in the Material Master. The setting was a * and the Material Master Text is appearing in the PO Long Text BUT if we change the PO text in the material master...it updates all historic purchase orders. I have searched the IMG under "Text Determination", Copy vs reference etc...nothing is coming up. I'm thinking there must be other configuration to "copy" vs "reference" as you suggest but cannot locate it. Can you direct me as to where this config is (menu path)???
