Hello JJ,
1. If you are sending a PO from two plants to one vendor via a Fax and by
mail, then wont it confuse the vendor!!! They will feel they have received
two order requirements with possibly different materials with the same
purchase order number.
2. The projects that I have been on have always had the Purchase
Organisation controlling everything. So the plants only raise the
requirement. The purchase order is always sent via one transmission medium.
Though I do recall that we sent copies of the purchase orders via SAP mail
to the plants.
* You may need to review your clients current business process and the
enterprise structure in SAP.
** Alternative Solution:- With my current client in China they dont have any
ABAPers or Smartform developers. So for SD they use EDI/IDOCS and download
the data into an SQL server. A procedure executes and a PDF document is
produced and then sent back via mail to the creator of the document. If
necessary you could try the same process in MM but where the PO document is
split based on the Plant and then faxed or mailed to the vendor.
Kind Regards and Thanks
Waza

Not that I have been able to get this to work yet with Plant, and I
logically understand it would complicate the logic to have two different
plants on the same PO, but have you implemented/prototyped a plant level PO
output condition table before? If so, did you have to limit POs to only 1
plant to get this to work?
Also, is it required for this type of condition table that the vendor master
Purchase Org data be maintained at the Plant level? I tried this but it
didn't help but maybe I didn't extend it correctly.
Thanks

Hello,
1. Are you saying that more than one plant can be used in the purchase
order?
2. HT has mentioned a BADI, what about an output requirement development.
IF Plant = A
Transmission medium = FAX
** Not sure its possible, as I do not see any M based requirements in OMFT.
Though you could add your code and put in a breakpoint to see what tables
would be available, I guess you would look for NAT table as a starter.
Kind Regards and Thanks

Hi John,
If this is the case, then you will have to activate the BAdI or user exit
that the PO shall be maintained for the same plant if multiple line item PO
is created. Anyhow, back to your problem, was your problem maintained with
multiple line items?. Did you get the same problem when the PO is created
for one line item?.
Cheers,
HT
