Hi,

You can export the version management data before the system copy and import
it afterwards.

There are notes explaining the procedure, but I don't remember the numbers.

It's not advisable to copy PROD data to DEV system, though. If you decide to
do that, you must make sure the classified data is deleted or scrambled.

Or maybe you're planning to perform a remote client copy from PROD to DEV
using the SAP_CUST profile, which only copies the customizing data?

Regards,

LEH

dear gurus,

during SAP Upgrade normally we will take copy of Production System as
new Sandbox / Development

Can you help me what is the strategy to keep Transport Request (as audit
or log purpose) and Version Management ?

when we take Production System as new Sandbox / Development we will lose
the Version Management as we normally have in Development, yes ?
