[sap-log-pp] MF50, changing finish time of process orders that have begun in the past

Currently, when we want to change the completion date of a process order in MF50, we can not keep the start date in the past - the system will not allow us to move the completion date/time out using the graphical view - it will only allow us to reschedule with the start date/time as the current date/time.
Is there customizing or a strategy that we can use to permit that ? We want to move out the completion time of a process order that is already started and have it automatically push all other process orders that are scheduled in the same resource (work center) out. We are using the insert operation in our strategy.
