[sap-hr] Cannot stop retro into transfered legacy payroll results, about to Go-Live

I have converted 01 2001 payroll bonus and monthly payroll results, and they appear in my pc_payresult.
I then set my control record to 01 2010 and earliest retro 02 2010. I release the control record, so the current period goes to 02 2010.
I try to run payroll for 02 2002 (current period) but it retros back into January, picking up bonus and monthly pay and turns my Feb results upside down.
I go into IT3 and try to set earliest personal RA date to 01.02.2010 but if I do, I will hit error in payroll "Retroactive accounting dat set by system, 01.01.2010, is before pers. EARLI"
I have not gone live with this payroll area yet, no posting, no actual payroll other than the converted payroll results for Jan.
How can I stop the system from calculating arrears from Jan? I just want it to use the CRT YTD info for statutory deduction purposes.
