[sap-acct] Document NOT splitting after Document splitting activation

Hello all,
Our company went live with ECC 6.0 without document splitting, We now decided we would use document splitting, hence activated Document splitting. I have completed all the configuration per note1085921
However, when I do post a document, I do not see the split happen.
Although we are in the New GL, do we have to do some king of a migration in order for the documents to split?
