I cannot imagine how will you differentiate between minor changes (that you want to resist to go to COPA) and major changes of Sales Document that should go to COPA. If you think that Sales Order are not needed, why don't you deactivate the flow at all? Analyse your nature of business then you can decide whether you need the Sales Order in the COPA or not.
fyi, I never activate the Sales Order flow to COPA.

Subject: Reversal postings in COPA for the Incoming Sales order values

> When a new sales order is created, the plan values are transferred to COPA with Record type A. As per the Standard SAP, when any change is made to Sales order, even the text fields, the new posting for values are made to COPA with additional reversal of the existing values. This is not desired in the project I work. Have anyone used the SAP Note 571967 to implement code changes for a work around to stop this changes posted to COPA? Your valued experience in this area would be helpful. Thanks for your advice.
