Hi,
If you mean SAP parameters, most of them have the default value and will
therefore reside in the DB backup. The parameters with values that have been
adjusted, reside in the profiles (/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile). So if you
have the DB backup and file backup of /usr/sap/<SID> and /sapmnt/<SID>, you
should have all the parameters.
How, if you're talking about the OS parameters, you must do a backup of the
OS files and a system state backup.
Regards,
LEH

Dear All,
We are having BI which is running on Windows 2003 server sp2 and sql 2005.
We are taking the backups of the database everyday. I want to take all the
backup which we did in application level (mean Parameters) given for the
that system. Is there anyway i can do take the whole backup including
paramters in application level in case of the system crash i can restore it
again rather doing the manually all the parameters.
Please let me know you the way to do it.
Thanks in Advance,
With best Regards,
Chandramouli.
