[sap-hr] Change in personnel sub area

Hi There
A PA 40 action is done to change personnel sub area. The action is completed however the I/T 008 record is not updating correctly.
For example the commencement date of the action is 1 August. All infotypes are created for 1 August including I/T 008.
However the I/T 0008 record is copying an out dated record (Salary as at 1 March $60000) instead of the most current record ( Salary at 1 June $65000 ).
I have gone to IMG/PM/PA/ customising procedures /Actions to try and recitify this but no luck.
Can anyone advise where I need to go to change this action so that the most recent salary record is copied.
