[sap-acct] Material Ledger x Substitution

Noticed Material Ledger-CKMLCP generates doc type ML using profit center from material master data (costing 2).
Need to change: use profit center entered in SD-sales order (doc type WL).
Think we can use a substitution rule + exit
Please, could anybody help me on that? Any clue (tables involved, logic flow)
