I am not aware of tax refunds for a previous fin.yr in US. You need to check about this aspect running the payroll with log and see how the prev.yr's figures impact the current pay. To correct a claim you need a w/t adj to balance it.
If you correct the mth 7 payments/dedns, normally the issue shd be resolved.
In Australia the empl has to take care of a previous year's tax refund directly with tax office. SAP provides refunds within the fin.yr.
For year end payment summary for the purpose of tax return, wage type over-rides are available in Aus. This is used only if the payroll can not be corrected satisfactorily in SAP and a manual adj is done for the empl's pay/dedn's. Check if you have similar over-ride facility with your molga.
