Have you maintained a stock removal strategy for the material?

[sap-log-wm] Goods Issue via Material Staging

Hi All,
Am attempting to issue goods via Material Staging from within the
Production Order (Function > WM Material staging > proceed). I noted that
subsequently when I attempt to create the Transfer Order via Txn LB13, the
'Batch Field' in the TO preparation screen is empty and thus when I
proceed to create the Transfer Order, the system gives an error stating
that Souce Storage Bin could not be determined. At this point if I
manually enter the Batch No, the system detects the source storage bin.
How do I get the system to automatically determine the Batch when the
material is staged ????
I have tried and maintained the Batch Strategy (COB1) and set the Batch
Entry as 3 in the Material Master, but at this point I cannot release the
Production Order. If I maintain Batch Entry as "" then am able to release
the Production Order but when attempting to Stage the Materials I get the
following warning "Batch verification not required, although possible in
Wm (pick parts)".
Any help is immensely appreciated.
Thanks,
Imran
