I lost track of SAP version names somewhere along the line, but in our ECC 5.0 system (WebAS version 6.40) the enhancement framework is not there. It's starting to sound like I've got a "can't get there from here" situation. So be it.

Hmm... implicit enhancements is what I was going to suggest - without that or a core mod, I think you're out of luck.
I thought implicit enhancements were introduced in ECC 5?

I forgot to mention that we are on ECC 5.0, so implicit enhancements are not available. Direct mods (or "Core mods," as we call them) are also out of the question.

It's probably unlikely that it will work without a dirrect MOD. Are you on ECC5 or ECC6? - Neal

Hi, Fellow ABAPers!
I have been asked if there is a way to display a pop-up message when a user enters a certain branch of the tree in transaction SPRO. I have searched unsuccessfully for function-type user exits and BADIs. I have Googled, and searched for OSS notes, again with no luck. Any ideas?
