Yes it will be fine. BI 7.0 gives you the option to even develop your cubes/update rules etc. the old way and continue using your old config as a version 3* as well as create cubes etc. the new way. You get the new RSA1 transaction that is refurbished and lets you develop in the latest way but you also get a transaction called RSA1OLD and you wont even know you are in a different system.
