Hi,
usually while MRP run the system considers only first production version,
i.e only one BOM.
you can do the following,
1. Include 3 raw materials in the first production BOM and create 3 more
alternative BOM for each of the raw materials.
2. Create production versions accordingly. First BOM (which includes 3 raw
materials) should be included in the first production version.
3. In MRP4 view of the header material, keep 2 (selection by production
version) in selection method.
4. Run MRP. System by default will take the first production version (i.e.
the BOM with 3 raw materials).
5. Go to MD04. System will generate the stock requirements list for all the
3 components.
6. Analyze the same and choose the right production version in the planned
order of the header material.
7. You can delete the planned orders or purchase requisition of the other
components if you want, since you are going to
use only one raw material.
Hope this will solve your problem. Let me know if it works.
