Haven't seen this one but just a thought, does he have a parameter value of DE (German) set for the SPR (language) parameter.

I have one user (of which I am aware) whose screens come up partially in German, regardless of which PC he is using. Other users can login on the same PC and see the screens in English. I have set his default language to EN and this has no effect. Am I missing something? __.____._
